Liverpool independents to support this Easter
Liverpool is home to some amazing independents, here is our guide for shopping their Easter collections!
This easter is the day of the year where millions of people buy Easter eggs from mainstream retailers but often smaller/independent retailers are forgotten but their products are all of such fabulous quality and make great thoughtful gifts for your loved ones this Easter.
Over to the independents…
The Butterholic
The Butterholic was started by Parisian Pastry chef Marius, who has created weekend breakfast boxes containing handmade artisan Croissants and Pastries. This Easter will be no different as Marius has created ‘The Easter Box’ which is perfect for a sweet Easter morning.
The Easter box is £25 and is available to preorder now and includes-
- 2 x Strawberry Bicoloured Croissant: Filled with strawberry jam, topped with vanilla Chantilly and strawberry sauce, strawberry fruit and glazed with apricot nappage.
- 2 x Pistachio Bicoloured Croissant: Filled with pistachio custard, topped with vanilla Chantilly, pistachio, raspberry and matcha stick, glazed with apricot nappage.
- 2 x Hazelnut Praline Croissant: Filled with hazelnut praline mousseline, glazed with Pate a Glacer, topped with walnuts and an Easter chocolate egg.
- 1 x Almond Croissant: Double baked croissant, dipped in sugar syrup, filled and topped with frangipane cream, icing sugar and flaked roasted almonds.
Good Morning Liverpool Box
Good Morning Liverpool are offering these delivery boxes called ‘Croissants Vs Doughnuts’ which would make the perfect sweet breakfast for Easter.
The Croissant Box is £12 and the Doughnut Box is also £12, each box can be filled with either 4, 6 or 8 croissants or doughnuts.
The Croissant Box comes with Freshly baked French croissants topped with custard and mini eggs! (If this doesn’t scream Easter I don’t know what does?)
The Doughnut Box contains sugary doughnuts filled with chocolate and topped with mini eggs.
Ropes and Twines
Thanks to the latest edition to the Ropes and Twines team, chocolatier Remy, this year at Ropes & Twines they’ve produced their own handmade Easter eggs. Each egg is made from luxury French chocolate with one of their now famous (in Merseyside) bonbons hidden within them. They are available in both classic and vegan options, for each full-size egg purchased they will be donating a slightly smaller chocolate egg to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital (44 donated so far when this feature is live)
The Ropes and Twines team have been creating chocolate masterpieces and these Easter Eggs are no different. I mean who can forget the Bold Street Gingerbread display!
