A look back at The independents of 2020 on galerie de aims

With 2020 coming to an end here is a recap of the independents that have featured on galerie de aims in 2020 and my plans for this blog in the upcoming year.

Hopefully 2021 will be a exciting year for everyone and galerie de aims. However, 2020 was a year of new beginnings as it was the start of galerie de aims this website I started in during the first of the UK lockdowns purely out of something to do. It was always a big dream of mine to have my own blog as I always read blogs and websites like Man Repeller, Into the Gloss, Byrdie and Song of Style.

Since starting galerie de aims I wanted to use it as a platform for small/independent businesses to give them an opportunity to discuss their new/old collections.

Since launching my website I have featured 19 brands/ independent businesses and I have loved working with each and every single collaboration and I have made many great friends from working with many independents. Additionally, 2020 brought some great opportunities from starting galerie de aims such as becoming an Ambassador for Loopy London and being featured in some regional newspapers and the Australian Magazine ‘Gracious’.

2021 brings some excitement for galerie de aims as I plan to start my ‘Love Stories’ campaign and many more exciting features with many more independent brands.

I’d like to thank all of the contributors for making galerie de aims first 7+ months as fabulous as possible, I did not think it would take the shape it has, obviously it has a long way to go but I have had such a great first few months being a small blogger and I am excited for things to come!
